This is an official call for nominations for the position of Regional Executive Vice-President (REVP) and Alternate Regional Executive Vice-President for the Quebec Region. The elections will be held at the PSAC-Quebec Triennal Convention on 26th April 2020 in Delta Sherbrooke. Nomination procedure and form are enclosed herewith.

For the second consecutive year, the PSAC-Quebec Women’s Committee will be presenting the Exceptional Women Award. It was unanimously agreed by the regional coordinators that from now on, the competition is to be called the Magali Picard Award. It will be presented on March 8, International Women’s Day. We realized in no time that this wonderful woman and outstanding communicator inspired us, shared our feminist principles, cherished the values of social justice and inclusion and made a difference in our workplaces through her representation of us all.

Matane, January 29, 2018 - The Public Service Alliance of Canada, Quebec region is inviting the media to a press briefing during it they will talk about the Phoenix pay system. Problems caused by the rollout of Phoenix have been plaguing more than 150,000 federal public service employees since February 2016. In the region, as everywhere in Canada, members are affected by the fiasco of this pay system.
