Introduction to Health and Safety in Provincial Workplaces, all regions

This bilingual training covers health and safety issues in the workplace. What are the causes and symptoms? Which laws protect us and how are they enforced? How can we develop an action plan to resolve health and safety issues through the union?

This training is a prerequisite for all other health and safety trainings.  It is offered to Local presidents, members of health and safety committees, health and safety representatives and all other members interested in workplace health and safety.

This training is offered to Regions Estrie/Bois-Francs (1), Laval/Laurentides/Lanaudière/Abitibi-Témiscamingue (2), Québec/Québec métro (3), Saguenay/Lac St-Jean/Chibougamau/Chapais (5), Montérégie (6), Montréal (7), Bas St-Laurent/Gaspésie/Iles-de-la-Madeleines/Côte-Nord (8), Mauricie (9)

REGISTRATION DEADLINE : FEBRUARY 28th, 2023

This training is open to all PSAC members. However, to select participants, we will apply the following criteria: Gender expression, equity groups, Components, Directly Chartered Locals and a maximum of one member per Local.

According to PSAC policies currently in place, you must have no symptoms to attend face-to-face meetings. This directive is subject to change as the situation evolves, public health directives and/or PSAC policies on vaccination and other issues related to COVID-19 prevention.
