Exasperated by the employer’s disrespectful behavior and insulting monetary offer, members of the Old Port of Montreal Corporation have launched a series of mobilization events.
Two weeks ago, the members combined business with pleasure by planning a family day at the Old Port skating rink. PSAC colors were everywhere. Our members took this opportunity to claim decent wages, a healthy work environment and above all, respect from the employer.
Since then, other initiatives have taken place. Lately, workers with uniform have stopped wearing them to express their frustration with the employer.
