Sister France Filion was elected by acclamation to the position of Director of Directly Chartered Locals at the General Assembly, held virtually on November 12, 2020. She was duly sworn in to her new position.
President of SERUM since 2009, France is a molecular biologist by training.
She worked for over 15 years as a research professional in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Montreal.
