Mission accomplished! After a year of bargaining, contract professors at the École nationale d’administration publique (ÉNAP) have signed their new collective agreement, effective until 2026.
“Everyone agrees that the bargaining was conducted in a respectful and collaborative manner,” said PSAC-Quebec union advisor Manon Ouellet.
The collective agreement provides for the following salary increases:
- 2022: 2%
- 2023: 3.25%
- 2024: 2.50%
- 2025: 2%
- 2026: 2% or GSP
The new contract’s highlights include:
- One remuneration package for all employees, regardless of the teaching platform
- Adjustment to the number of hours for union leave
- Allocation of $500 per year for the purchase of computer equipment
- Increase in the cancellation lump sum to 15%
- Increase in the amount for each student in excess of the ratio from $150 to $200
- Establishment of a student/teacher ratio
- Substantial improvements to the allocation system to ensure course distribution is more equitable for all employees
- Greater recognition of employees and the union, including with regards to participation in the convocation, academic freedom and intellectual property.
