The PSAC-Quebec Regional Women’s Committee has a new director! Fedoua Hritel, from local SEIC-10423, has just been re-elected to this post. She will be seconded by Sister Sylvie Pépin of local UEDN-10507 elected to the position of substitute.
For many years now, Fedoua has been involved in committees dedicated to the status of women and has been taking actions to end gender disparities and all other forms of discrimination. Her priorities will be programs for women, employment-family conciliation policies adapted to the reality of women today and the elimination of marginalization of women living in precarious situations (conjugal violence, single-parent women and others) in order to ensure their inclusion in all circles of our society.
“Today, more than ever, we must work together to achieve true gender equality and ensure just and inclusive environments that offer equal opportunities for all. I want to continue the work of those who were there before me to move forward and prepare the ground for future generations, because this is our solution towards real inclusion and real change! », says Fedoua.
Congratulations to Fedoua et Sylvie!
