Delegates present at the last PSAC-Quebec convention elected today Lyne Cartier at the fourth round of e-voting as an alternate to the PSAC-Quebec Regional Executive Vice Presidency.
The results are:
Lyne Cartier: 50
François Paradis: 37
Canceled vote: 0
Simple majority: 44
Voting members: 131
Sister Cartier will take office in the coming days. Previously, Sister Cartier was the president of the Monteregie Regional Council.
The election was necessary following the retirement of Sister Monique Déry.
