During this tour, they managed to meet a dozen MPs or office staff. They discussed their working conditions, the decree and the use of scabs by the Canadian Forces.

In the evening, NPF members from Quebec gathered in downtown Montreal, in front of the federal offices of the Complexe Guy-Favreau. They offered a projection of their message to passers-by on busy streets. Quebec REVP Yvon Barrière took the opportunity to address the strikers and remind them of the importance of their struggle.
