PSAC-Quebec’s Health and Safety Committee is pleased to announce PSAC-Quebec’s Regional Occupational Health and Safety Conference 2024.
Intended primarily for locals’ Health and Safety committee members and representatives, the conference will be held October 25–27, 2024 at the Estrimont hotel in Orford, Quebec.
The conference will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 25 and end at noon on Sunday, October 27. Check-in begins at 9:00 a.m. on October 25. Registration fees are $150 per person. PSAC-Quebec will reimburse for lost wages. For those travelling more than 100 km, PSAC-Quebec will also cover accommodation costs, as well as travel costs and meals not included at the hotel. Participants can submit claims through the Member Portal for expenses incurred during the conference. The regional office will make all arrangements for air travel. Actual expenditures will be reimbursed according to Treasury Board rates.
Participants will be selected in order of priority:
- Area Council delegates
- Members of local Health and Safety Committees
- Local members interested in workplace health and safety
The number of available spots is fixed at 100 due to budgetary considerations. If we receive more than 100 applications and a local has registered more than one representative, the local president will make the selection.
The registration deadline is 4:00 p.m. on July 19, 2024.
Large locals can register more than one person, provided they are ranked in order of priority on the registration form. If places are still available after the registration deadline, multiple registrations from a single local will be considered.
