On May 22, 23 and 24, 220 members gathered at the Saint-Hyacinthe Convention Centre to take part in the 12th PSAC-Quebec Triennial Convention.
Members had the opportunity to debate resolutions that will help strengthen our union and adopt important political positions.
On Sunday, members elected their representatives for the next three years. Sébastien Paquette was elected Regional Executive Vice-President.
We are pleased to announce that Sébastien Paquette has been elected Regional Executive Vice-President (REVP) of PSAC-Quebec for the next three years. He is the first REVP elected from a directly chartered local, ASSEP at Polytechnique Montréal, making this a historic election for PSAC-Quebec. The members have spoken and their choice is clear. Sébastien Paquette had already been serving as REVP of PSAC-Quebec for nearly a year.
Pamela Salem was also elected Alternate Regional Executive Vice-President, and Francesca Dorvilier was elected Second Alternate Regional Executive Vice-President.
