Feminist action in Colombia: In conversation with Yolanda Becerra Vega

PSAC-Quebec’s Director for Women is proud to invite you to a webinar to mark International Women’s Day.

In partnership with the Centre international de solidarité ouvrière (CISO) and the Projet Accompagnement Solidarité Colombie (PASC), we will welcome Yolanda Becerra Vega, a Colombian feminist and peace activist, founder of the National Directorate of the Popular Women’s Organization and nominee for the 2005 Nobel Peace Prize in the 1000 PeaceWomen proposal.

In this webinar, we’ll dive into the various issues, setbacks and hurdles that mark women’s lives.

We’ll also explore the strength and resilience these women show in mobilizing to defend their rights.

This discussion is guaranteed to inspire you and spark new ideas on how to keep your mobilization efforts strong and active in your communities.

The webinar will take place online on March 6, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
