PSAC-Quebec is pleased to announce its Regional Women’s Conference 2025.
The conference will be held April 4–6, 2025 at the Hôtel le Germain in Charlevoix, Quebec. The selection of participants will be made taking into account the following criterias: involvement in union or women’s issues, representation of regions, components, direct charters, equity groups.
The conference will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 4 and end at noon on Sunday, April 6.
Registration fees are $200 per person (by cheque only). Each local, regional women’s committee, regional council and equity group that registers a participant must bear the cost of the unpaid fees mentioned above. In order to promote women’s participation in this conference, we encourage participants to contact their component, their regional committee, to help them in their search for funding. However, those who are unable to obtain funding for their registration are asked to contact us as soon as possible.
All conference participants will be reimbursed for the following expenses:
- Child care costs, as per PSAC policy;
- Loss of wages for conference participants for those who are normally required to work on the Saturday and/or Sunday of the conference (with a copy of the usual work schedule);
- Loss of salary for the Friday, April 4th. Loss of salary for the afternoon of Thursday, April 3rd, from 1 pm for some participants. If you live more than 300 km from the conference, please contact Cathy Leclerc at leclerc@psac-afpc.com;
- Loss of wages and expenses incurred by participants who, due to the distance to be travelled, are required to travel during the normal working hours provided for in the schedule;
- Transportation, incidentals and meals not included in the package will be covered according to PSAC policies. An event will be created in the portal following the event.
