Every year, the federal government hands out management bonuses like candy. But anyone can see that public service management is no better or worse than the year before. The government needs to stop pretending that bonuses are awarded for exceptional performance.

On Tuesday, February 24 at noon, the Public Service Alliance of Canada, Quebec Region (PSAC-Quebec) will mark the introduction of the infamous Phoenix pay system via a press conference.

McGill University Non-Academic Certified Association (MUNACA) representing close to 2,000 support staff, filed for conciliation.

The Treasury Board and federal agencies decided to order a four-day in-office mandate.

Jobs will be cut at the Sherbrooke Research and Development Centre. The decision affects five PSAC-Quebec members represented by the Agricultural Union.  

In 2025, PSAC-Quebec centred its efforts on various issues that directly affect members, including Quebec anti-union bills, workforce adjustments in the federal government, collective bargaining and mobilization.
